We had a pleasant interview with our valuable business partner Andreas Konstas from AK STEEL.
- Would you share about yourself and the story of your company?
I am a Civil engineer working in Steel trading business from 2010, Importing from India, China, Vietnam, Korea and lately mostly from Turkey.
- To which sector do you sell your products?
Usually my customers are PU panel producers, Drywall steel profile producers, door producers, steel centers etc.
- When did you start working with Yıldız Demir Çelik?
I started working with you from the beginning of your plant.
- What do you think about the service and product quality of Yıldız Demir Çelik?
Quality is very good, I did not have any major complaints from customers. About Service we had in the past some problems, mainly some lack of communication and difficulty to foresee the finish of production for each contract and the possible shipment date, but lately the situation is much better. Also we had some mistakes in shipment documents, but the situation is much better lately.
- Where do you use the products you purchase from Yıldız Demir Çelik?
See above , PU Panels, drywall profilers, steel centers etc.
- How did the pandemic affect your business and would you share your thoughts on this?
From a quantity point of view, the last 3 years most customers in Greece and Bulgaria ( countries that I sell) increased their capacity and consumption. The problem is the increased lead times and the increased price levels ( usually Yildiz lead times were higher than other competitors). To counter the increased prices we need to have less lead time and fast shipments.
